Uwang Ahadas, a National Living Treasure, plays the kwintangan kayu, a series of logs arranged in gradated sizes and traditionally hung horizontally under a tree at the vicinity of the rice fields. The music is meant to woo the newly planted rice to grow robust and bear grains with abundance.
